Burcot ,

At John Masefield House we are passionate about the high standard of individualised care which we provide to our residents, all of whom are empowered and supported to maximise and maintain their independence.  As a registered Care Home with Nursing, we offer the additional security of 24-hour nursing care where this is required.  Our residents have a diverse range of needs - depending on their disability - and are aged between their early twenties to their later years.

Named after the poet laurite John Masefield, who lived here until his death, the home is modern, single storey and purpose built, with 22 ensuite bedrooms, set within 6 acres of River Thames fronted grounds.  Located in rural Oxfordshire, about 7 miles from the centre of Oxford and 6 miles from Abingdon, we are within easy reach of the local amenities of the villages of Berinsfield and Dorchester-on-Thames.

We are currently looking to appoint a Deputy Manager, to join our existing team, due to a promotion within the home.

At Valorum Care, we believe that everybody has the right to fulfil their potential and to grow and develop in accordance with their own beliefs, passions and interests. Valorum – which means “value” in Latin – ensure that everybody is valued for who they are as individuals.
