Hours:                  Zero Hours (Bank contract)

Shifts:                  Morning, Late and Weekend shifts

Oakland Care are a dynamic luxury care home provider focused on becoming the brand of choice within the care sector. We currently have four care homes located in the South-East area and are currently looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to support our Woodland Grove Care Home team. 

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a caring, fun and forward-thinking team and a business which is at early stages of development and can offer some fantastic development and career progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all visitors are welcomed, made aware of the H&S and treated with courtesy and respect
  • Answer telephone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the overall presentation of the reception area provides a welcoming, friendly and professional image to the home;
  • Provide support to the home management team, preparing reports and documents as and when required
  • Assisting Business Administrator with various regular and ad hoc administration tasks
  • General office administration duties 

To be successful in this role:

The ideal candidate will be pro-active and organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise busy workloads efficiently.

Key Skills and Experience required for the Receptionist role:

  • Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience working as a Receptionist or Administrator
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Good time management and ability to work to a deadline
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the service.
