Experienced *Female Rehabilitation Support Worker required for a lady who has an acquired brain injury and mental health illness living in the Stourbridge area.
Our client requires 2 to 1 care and has recently transitioned from a nursing home to independent living with a care team based in the Stourbridge area., close to her family.
Ideally you will have experience of working with clients with a brain injury, challenging behaviour and mental health issues.
Induction and training will be provided with the client. We seek a motivated, patient and caring support worker who is flexible and keen to make a difference to our clients quality of life and support her to live in her own home.
It would be of additional benefit if you share some of our clients interest in nature, conservation, classical music, dance, poetry or arts and crafts.
Working hours: 10-12 hours per week. Additional hours may be available once circumstances change.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
Rates of pay £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
