*Female Rehabilitation Support Workers

Enthusiastic bubbly experienced *female rehabilitation support workers required for a sixteen year old client with mild Cerebral Palsy working in the family home to increase her independence and to support her with community based social activities.

We are seeking experienced *female support workers to cover a variety of shifts,6.30am - 9.30am and 2.00pm - 9.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8.30am – 2.00pm on a rota basis, during term time.  During the school holidays shifts will be 7.00am - 6.00pm.  There will be occasional sleep in shifts available.

Additional hours will be available to cover for annual leave and sickness.

Our client has mild physical and social difficulties but she is very bright academically.

Currently living in the Bridgend area however the family are moving to Tonyrefrail area within 12 months.

The post will involve driving the clients vehicle to take her and her brother to and from school daily.

The successful applicants will support her with a therapy programme, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, gym exercises, skills for independence and homework studies along with assisting to prepare meals and undertake light household duties.

The client has an interest in stage school, drama, baking, music and enjoys going out, the successful applicant will support her with having fun and widening her social experiences.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

Rates of pay: £11.50 per hour Monday to Friday, £13.50 per hour Saturday and Sunday.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
