Psychiatric RMN/Nurse

£25.00-£28.00 Per Hour

Experienced Psychiatric RMN/Nurse required for a 45-year-old lady who has brain
injury and mental health illness living in the Stourbridge area.

The role will be supporting with psychiatric and psychology strategies and managing
her medication. Developing our client’s independence, supporting with behavioural
management functional skills working with her therapy team and therapy programmes,
support /care planning and assessments with activities in the community. You will work
with supervising/supporting the rehabilitation support workers.

Working hours: 20-30 hours per week. A variety of shifts available with the occasional
nights included. You need to be able to work flexibly to cover days, evenings, weekends
and occasional nights and the hours will increase gradually.

You will work with supervising/supporting the rehabilitation support workers. We seek
a nurse who can work part time days and be flexible, and two nights a week will be
required. Night duties will increase to full time in the future with a full care package.
Bank positions are also available.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible. The successful candidate
must have experience of acquired brain injury, mental health background and
management of challenging behaviour. This is an exciting but challenging role and we
seek dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic nurses who are flexible. It would be of
additional benefit if you share some of our client’s interest in nature, conservation,
classical music, poetry, arts and crafts. Non-smoker is preferred.

Rates of pay:
Monday to Friday: £25.00 per hour
Saturday and Sunday: £28.00 per hour

An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or higher is desirable. Otherwise the
applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce
Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
