BCHA helps people off the streets, out of abuse, over skills barriers and onto independence and work, providing a range of accommodation, support, training and work opportunities.

New Leaf Repairs (part of the BCHA group) are seeking two experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join our repairs and maintenance team working predominantly across Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth and Weymouth.

You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within the Housing sector and preferably be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 (or equivalent)

As a multi-trade operative you will have a trades background, ideally with skills and experience in bathroom fitting, kitchen fitting, plastering, tiling and painting and be required to work across a mix of planned and reactive maintenance.

There is a strong emphasis on customer service in these roles, as the customer is often present on site.

Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full and current driving licence that is acceptable to our insurers and have the ability to drive a company van.

This is a full time role, working 42.5 Hours per week. A van, smartphone, uniform and PPE will be provided.

You need to be passionate and creative in all you do, always looking to grow and improve personal competences and experiences.

DBS checks are required for roles where you will be working with or have lone contact with Vulnerable Adults and Children.
