We are looking for people to join our team of support workers working with S who lives in South Derbyshire; a profoundly disabled 9 year old little girl who has severs quadriplegic cerebral palsy. S has a gastrostomy feeding tube; requires frequent suction & oxygen therapy & uses a wheelchair & hoist.
She lives with her loving family and you will work alongside her Mother and experienced staff to provide all care needs; we are looking for people who are sensitive to working within the family home.
We provide a care package for 24hrs a day. You will also be expected to attend training, meetings, supervision etc outside of your rota’d hours, for which you will be paid at the hourly rate. You will be expected to provide cover for annual leave & sickness within the team. SH has frequent unplanned hospital stays, staff continue to provide assistance during these stays, reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
You will be occasionally be working alongside a team of therapists & will receive training in delivering care & therapy to S; you may also accompany her into school if covering day shifts if she is well enough to attend.
It is essential that you are a driver & hold a clean UK driving licence as the client has a wheelchair accessible vehicle which is driven by her support staff.

We are looking to fill the posts below:
POST 1: Waking nights, two shifts per week 9pm until 7am. There is a 6 week rolling rota in place. There will be two full weekends off in the six week roll.
POST 2: Day support staff, average of 27 hours and 1.33 sleeps per week to be worked over a 6 week rolling rota comprising Earlies 7am – 4.30pm, Lates 4.30pm – 9pm and Sleeps 9pm – 7am. The rota covers 7 days and there will be some weekend working.
POST 3: Day support staff, 18.5 hours per week to be worked as one long day (7am – 9pm) and one Late (4.30pm to 9pm) per week on a 6 week rolling rota. The rota covers 7 days and there will be some weekend working.
Rates of pay: Weekday £11 per hour/Weekend and Nights: £13 per hour/Sleeps £70 per night.
