Job Role: Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Lambwood Heights Care Home,Chigwell,Essex

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £8.50 per hour

Oakland Care is a growing healthcare organisation with a current portfolio of four luxury care homes and a new luxury home, Lambwood Heights Care Home will offer 73 superior private en-suite bedrooms and will provide the highest quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a five-star setting. We will have a multitude of luxurious day lounges for our residents to relax in. The home will be complemented by some fantastic features and plenty of other facilities to enable our residents to stay fit and healthy.

Housekeeping roles are fundamental in our home in creating a caring and family environment so our residents can enjoy a happy and comfortable life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all daily work schedules are completed on time and to the standards required
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in Lambwood Heights
  • To comply with all statutory ad legal requirements such as Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained, cleaned and stored with any faults reported to the Home Manager
  • Working closely with other team members and management team

Ideally you will have some experience within a similar role and/or a care home setting but most importantly that you have the right attitude and are a compassionate and caring person.
