Business Improvement Specialist

Up to £30,000 per annum

We are looking to recruit a vibrant Business Improvement Specialist, who is self-motivated, a team player and flexible. We have been established for over 80 years specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of Workshop and In-Vehicle Equipment, with production facilities here in the U.K, Germany and Hungary, and partner companies throughout the world. Following our enviable growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Improvement Specialist based at our site in Ashby De La Zouch, in Leicestershire.

The Business Improvement Specialist will be responsible for providing project support to the Information Manager whilst seeking out, leading, participating in and reporting on mini projects.

Key Responsibilities;

  • To provide first line support to the Information Manager.
  • To support current projects to ensure they are completed and deliver upon expectations.
  • To identify opportunities for improved business effectiveness and efficiencies; agree key deliverables & objectives, and then lead and participate in projects to deliver upon desired outcomes.
  • To provide regular & ad-hoc progress reports to the divisional & group management team.
  • To undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested from time to time.


The essential skills of the Business Improvement Specialist;

  • The role holder must have and excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and be able to design, deliver & maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • They must be capable of designing, leading and participating in mini-projects that will deliver business efficiencies, improve profitability, and grow customer satisfaction.
  • They will be able to work unsupervised and deliver to expectations and challenging timescales.
  • Clean UK full driving licence.

The hours of work are 09:00 – 17:00 Mon – Thurs, 09:00 – 16:30 Fri – (salaried 37 hrs per week)
