Warehouse Floor Manager

Dependent on Experience

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Floor Manager to join our busy Warehouse Operations team.

The Warehouse Floor Manager must have up to date Counterbalance and Reach Truck licenses, other MHE licences will be advantageous but are not essential.


The main responsibilities of the Warehouse Floor Manager will include:

  • Being responsible for the health, safety, welfare and management of a team of Warehouse Operatives.
  • Allocation of resource to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Overseeing the Warehouse operation of goods in, picking and dispatch of dedicated Warehouse Contracts.
  • Management and motivation of a team of Warehouse Operatives including participation in recruitment, discipline and training.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment including the management of MHE equipment.
  • Creating and analysing KPI data.


The essential qualities of the Warehouse Floor Manager will include:

  • Demonstrable experience of Warehouse management.
  • A commitiment to achieving the highest standards at all times.
  • An inclusive and motivational management style.
  • Experience of using Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to communicate objectives and instruction whilst inspiring the team to achieve their goals.
  • Experience of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • BRC and ISO 9001 knowledge.
