0 - 7 / per week - Part-Time

 Job purpose:

To assist with day to day activities enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.


Saturdays,10am-1pm, 6pm-8pm (or 6.30pm-8.30pm if preferred)

Sundays, 6.30am-9.30am, 6pm-8pm (or 6.30pm-8.30pm if preferred)


I am looking to employ a team of Support Workers so please let me know which shifts you are applying for.


Flexibility will be required as I may need you to change times occasionally to take me to medical appointments.


Rate of Pay: £9.50 per hour


Work Duties will include:

Helping with

  • Personal care including washing, hair washing and drying
  • Daily activities in the home

Supporting with

  • Accessing the community
  • With mobility
  • Going shopping and to appointments

Undertaking activities for employer

  • Preparing and cooking meals from scratch
  • Cleaning and laundry
  • Ensuring the home is hygienic and safe
  • Assisting with management of health risks as I have food and other allergies. You may need to use my epipen but will receive training before being able to do this

Location and additional information

  • Within the home in Fishponds/Eastville Park area and the local community.
  • 5.6 weeks paid annual leave

Requirements for applicant

  • Good sense of humour
  • Patience
  • Ability to understand my medical diagnosis which then reflects my care needs, in order to be able to build a good rapport with myself
  • Willingness to receive any training that I feel may be required in order for you to understand my needs and the tasks you are being asked to complete
  • Experience and knowledge of providing personal care
  • Ability to undertake domestic activities
  • Flexible, reliable and honest
  • Good general fitness
  • Driver preferred (non-drivers can still apply as not all shifts will require accessing the community)
  • Female
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required which I will pay for
