Job Purpose and work duties

Job purpose:

To assist with the day to day activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle. You will be working as part of a team of support PA’s and as such, other shifts may become available from time to time.

Work Duties will include:

Helping with

• Parenting Care – Assisting with feeding, changing, dressing and bathing small child
• Personal Care – Bathing, dressing and undressing, applying cream to legs and feet.
• Domestic tasks – laundry, washing up
• Meal preparation

Supporting

• With mobility, ensuring the employers safety

Undertaking activities for employer

• Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safe

Other requirements

• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employers health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication

• Maintaining confidentiality

Rate of pay

£9.00 per hour

Shifts Available – Please note that you may apply for any or all of these shifts

Monday 6pm to 8pm Tuesday 8.30am to 10.30 am and 6pm to 8pm Wednesday 11am to 2.30pm Thursday 8.30am to 10.30 am and 6pm to 8pm Every other Saturday 6pm to 8pm

 Location

Within the employers home in the Patchway (BS34) area.

• Ability to undertake domestic activities
• Flexible, reliable and honest
• Good general fitness
• An enhanced DBS check will be required
• Must like children (as will be working with a toddler)
