Experienced *Female Support Workers required for a lady living in the Wells area.

 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced support worker with a strong and robust personality who is experienced and capable of holding and maintaining boundaries. The role requires a positive attitude and outlook on life.

 

Additional requirements include being empathic, understanding and non-judgemental. Good communication skills are essential. Someone who is creative, motivated, enthusiastic and energetic; with patience and compassion to work with our client on a one-to-one basis, within her own home.

 

The role involves facilitating activities of daily living, including help with socialising, exercise and independent living skills. Planning structure and routine with each day.

Hours available 24 per week to include weekday, weekend, night-time and bank holidays.

 

Candidates would be expected to have the initiative to work unsupervised while taking direction from the team leader and Management team.

 

The successful candidate(s) will have a resilient and robust personality. Experience of working with clients who are neurologically compromised and/or with personality disorders would be advantageous.

 

The is a challenging but also very rewarding role.

 

It is essential that you have previous experience working within care.

 

Working hours: 24 hours per week to include days, nights, evenings and weekends. 

 

 Rates of pay £12.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £14.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
