Enthusiastic, organised and experienced complex care support workers required for a male client in the Croydon area working in the family home.

We are keen to meet you if you are dedicated to delivering gold standard of care and would like to be part of our team. You must be able to complete a full induction and training prior to post being contracted.

Our client has complex needs and is a full-time wheelchair user who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

He requires full support with all aspects of his care.

To develop support to access activities in the community with him.

The successful Support Worker will:

  • Be able to demonstrate a high quality of verbal and written communication skills
  • Have previous experience of working with clients with complex needs and a brain injury
  • Demonstrate awareness of risk
  • Have a positive attitude, be flexible and be able to respond to emergencies
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Be able to demonstrate ability to work confidently alone and as part of a team
  • Have a high level of mental and physical stamina
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational and administrative skills

The Support Worker will also have a full UK driving licence, be willing to undergo a DBS check.

  • Must live locally, within 45mins, of Shirley, Croydon
  • Must have proficient use of the English language

Waking Night shifts 37.5 hours per week- 2 posts available.

Day time shifts 30 hours per week-2 posts available.

Bank/relief staff also required.

Salary: £12.00 to £14.00 Per Hour
