RMN/or RGN required to work with a lady with an acquired brain injury and a mental illness 2:1 within her own home.
She will be moving out of a nursing home for a trial of independent living a 2-1 care team. You must be able to travel to Daventry to assist with the transition period and getting to know our client. All travel will be paid.
The role will be supporting with developing our client’s independence, supporting with personal care, functional skills, therapy team and programme, behavioural management, medication management, support plan, risk assessments and organising activities in the home of community.
You will be supervising/supporting rehabilitation support workers and managing the team. You need to be able to work flexibly to work some shifts initially in order to assess our client.
This is an exciting and challenging role and we seek a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic nurse who must be flexible.
I would be of additional benefit if you share some of our client’s interest in nature, conservation, classical music, poetry, arts and crafts.
Must have experience of Acquired Brain Injury and Management of Challenging Behaviour.
Must be able to work flexibly to cover days, evenings and weekends.
Must be able to swim.
Working hours: 20 hours per week, evenings, days, weekends and occasional nights.
Rates of pay £22.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £24.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday
