Job Description




12 hours per week to be agreed with the employer but a minimum of 3 days each week.





2.00pm to 6.00 pm

Rate: £9.00 per hour


Job purpose: 49 Year old disabled lady requires a personal assistant to assist with the day to day activities enabling her to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets her chosen lifestyle. My needs can change due to a fluctuating medical condition.


Work Duties may include:


Helping with:

  • Personal care including washing and dressing
  • Daily activities within the homeSupporting: 
  • With accessing social activities
  • With mobility, ensuring the employers safety. (Wheelchair user)Undertaking activities for employer: 
  • Shopping for food and other required items
  • Cleaning and laundry
  • Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safeOther requirements: 
  • Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
  • Assisting with management of employers health risks
  • Prompt for medication taking
  • Establish and maintain effective communication
  • Maintaining confidentiality

Location and additional information:

Within the employers home in the Bradley Stoke and the local area.


  • Requirements for applicant:  
  • Female required
  • Good sense of humour
  • Patience
  • Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
  • Experience of providing personal care
  • Ability to undertake domestic activities
  • Flexible, reliable and honest
  • Driver, with access to own vehicle preferred
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required
