Facilities Co-ordinator / Maintenance

Due to our continued growth and success we have a vacancy for a facilities co-ordinator / Maintenance to join our compliance team based at our busy Kettering site and supporting all UK sites. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and hands on individual who is able to work on their own initiative.

Core Working Hours - Monday - Friday x 45 hours  

The primary tasks of the facilities co-ordinator / Maintenance will be:

  • Oversee facility contracts
  • Control of contractors
  • Proactive / reactive maintenance
  • Carry out a range of minor maintenance i.e. change light bulbs, paint walls.
  • Offering the highest level of service to our customers, both internal and external.
  • Ensuring that all Quality, Health and Safety and Compliance standards are adhered to at all times.

The essential qualities of the facilities co-ordinator / Maintenance include:

  • Demonstrable experience working in facilities, site services or as a handyman.
  • Strong basic maintenance background with good standard of “finishing and fixing”.
  • Experience of safety rules and systems (permit to work, task risk assessments, COSHH).
  • Understand the need for accurate record keeping
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Driving licence
