Proposals and Costing Analyst

£25K - £30K per annum

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Proposals and Costing Coordinator/Analyst, who is a strong communicator, self-motivated, and flexible. We have been established for over 80 years specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of Workshop and In-Vehicle Equipment, with production facilities here in the U.K, Germany and Hungary, and partner companies throughout the world. Following our enviable growth, we have created this new position based at our site in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.

The successful candidate should have strong analytical and numeracy skills and be experience in producing and/or analysing pricing information.

The successful candidate will be required to do the following;

  • Support the proposals team in the preparation of pricing estimates/breakdowns for solutions created by the CAD and Sales teams.
  • Liaise with other departments (Procurement/Engineering/Production) to ensure that costs used for the creation of pricing estimates are accurate.
  • Analyse secured orders to check the accuracy of pricing estimates.
  • Provide general project support to the proposals team.


 The successful candidate should have the following;

  • Previous experience of working within either purchasing or finance job role.
  • Have a relevant level 3, or higher qualification (A level, BETEC or higher).
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Good I.T. skills including spreadsheet, word processing, and SAP (not essential).
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence
