Amazon Services Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for a competent and highly organised Administrator who will be responsible for delivering a high standard of sales service for our Amazon Vendor accounts for UK and Europe.

As the Amazon Services Administrator, you will be responsible for handling the day to day running of one of our highest profile accounts. The position reports to the Amazon Account Manager and requires an individual with strong self-motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner and the confidence to interact effectively with various internal departments.

An excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel is imperative for this role as most elements of the job revolve around this application.


Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Raise new line forms, regularly working with Marketing, to ensure product descriptions and key features are correct and engaging.
  • Regularly auditing listings to ensure product descriptions remain correct and accurate, deleting discontinued lines and updating product availability.
  • Upload and maintain product images on Vendor Central and on all Amazon platforms.
  • Process all orders in a timely and accurate manner, print associated labels and check input details to minimise error rate and to ensure orders are dispatched correctly.
  • Work with the Senior Warehouse team on order lead times and availability.
  • Process monthly consignment sales and raise invoices off the back of these sales
  • Raise credits for all product returns and Co-op charges on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with the Accounts team to handle all invoice queries swiftly and correctly to ensure payment is received against goods delivered.
  • Undertake marketing and promotional activity both with Amazon and internal recommendations around key events like Prime Day, Black Friday etc.
  • Liaise with licensors to maintain our product exposure within their Amazon Stores.
  • Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts for better selling lines to maintain stock availability for Amazon.
  • Deal with a range of enquiries from Vendor Central, email & calls including order statuses, invoice queries, price checking, product queries and complaints, efficiently and effectively ensuring that all internal processes are completed.
  • Produce regular sales and account progress reports for the UK Sales team and wider business.
  • Communicate customer feedback to the Account Manager alerting them to potential areas of concern relating to the sales process and recommend improvements.
  • Provide administration cover during periods of sickness or holiday for other members of the team, including key office duties such as the outgoing mail, Reception and filing.

Key skills and experience:

  • Must have excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel

 Hours of work are 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with a one hour lunch break.
