We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Marketing Assistant to join a well established business in Hinckley, Leicestershire. On a temporary on-going basis this is a great opportunity for you to utilise your excellent Marketing skills!

Although this role is only on a temporary basis, if you prove yourself as an asset within the business this could develop into a long term role. 

You will be expected to continually measure and improve the performance of marketing campaigns and assist in the creation of new marketing literature for campaigns.

The key responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant will be:

• Develop offline marketing strategies and print campaigns.
• To identify opportunities - subject area specific magazines and websites
• To develop corporate messages and disseminate proactively. 
• To create direct marketing using email, using Office, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• To source relevant data bases and organise marketing videos together with the ability to write content to support the campaign.
• To liaise with colleagues in the marketing team to develop new affiliate marketing opportunities.

The successful Marketing Assistant should have the following:

• Marketing experience minimum of 1 year
• Marketing-related degree is advantageous
• Knowledge of planning and building dynamic campaigns
• Well organised and have excellent attention to detail.
• Good analytical skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills
• Be able to write persuasively for landing pages and email flyers.

The hourly rate will be £8.00 per hour for the temporary period.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 20 to 22 hours per week, flexibility is there for either 3 full days 9am to 5pm or 5 half days.
