An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join an existing team to provide care and support to our client who lives in Cwmbran. In return. we offer a full induction and ongoing training.


We require a bright, energetic and motivated Support Worker with a robust personality to work with our client in a rehabilitation and support role. Our client is a young lady with complex physical and cognitive needs.


The Support Worker will be involved in enabling our client to lead a life that is fulfilling and meaningful, maximising her physical and psychological well-being and promoting her safety at all times.


The Support Worker will be responsible for giving help and assistance with all activities of daily living, building, developing and nurturing a therapeutic relationship with our client to support her through the next phase of her life and transition into independent living.


The role will also involve working closely with the relevant professionals and treating therapists implementing the client’s rehabilitative therapy programme, and facilitating social activities.


The successful Support Worker will have

  • Previous experience of working in a private care setting and/or with brain injury
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • A willingness to undergo a DBS Check


The shifts are based on a rota system to include mornings, evening, sleep-in and wake-in nights and weekends.


The pay rates are:

  • Weekday: £12 per hour
  • Weekend: £14 per hour
