Full-time Monday - Friday 8:45am-5:15pm with 45 minutes lunch

HR:4UK are recruiting an Operations Manager to help run the day-to-day workings of our Hinckley office. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Director of HR/Operations.

We’re looking for a hands-on, flexible and enthusiastic candidate who is prepared to get stuck into the business of running our day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is an all-rounder - someone who is able to take on tasks, own them, and excel. Your duties will focus mainly on managing the day-to-day operations and you will be tasked with constantly looking for ways to streamline processes.

You will be superb at organising & prioritising as well as flexible with a can do attitude and a warm friendly manner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Directors to develop innovative and efficient standard ways of working.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures reporting back to the Directors.
  • Management of the office ensuring that the teams work together to provide a high quality service.
  • Authorisation of Holiday requests, carrying out return to work interviews and record keeping (e.g. holidays and absence).
  • Reviewing, prioritising and redistributing work where appropriate.
  • Provide administrative support as required to Directors where appropriate in the offices to include: Diary management, Travel management, Management of inbox.
  • Motivate and engage the team and ensure ongoing dialogue and feedback.
  • Pro-actively develop effective working relationships with partners and managers around the office to understand their needs and offer advice and solutions to problems and improve ways of working.
  • Assist with Induction for new joiners as required within the office.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
  • Meet the requirements of the landlord as specified in the building lease.
  • Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.
  • Maintain a system to manage emergency out of hour’s maintenance requirements being identified as an Emergency Contact.

Person Specification

  • Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrable initiative.
  • Ability to function well independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised and with excellent attention to detail and good judgement.
  • Common sense and an ability to think on your feet.
  • Keen to grow in a successful and dynamic growth business.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
