Scheduling Administrator / Coordinator
Up to £22,000 per annum
We are looking to recruit a vibrant Scheduling Administrator / Coordinator, who is self-motivated, a team player and flexible. We have been established for over 80 years specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of Workshop and In-Vehicle Equipment, with production facilities here in the U.K, Germany and Hungary, and partner companies throughout the world. Following our enviable growth, we are looking to recruit a Scheduling Administrator / Coordinator based at our site in Ashby De La Zouch, in Leicestershire.
The Scheduling Administrator / Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and updating the scheduling system by obtaining vehicle and other related information to ensure a smooth running schedule.
The Scheduling Administrator’s main duties involve:
Scheduling vehicles in to the workshop, feeding back relevant fitting dates and information to the customer
Follow vehicle availability to keep the schedule as realistic as possible which will in turn help the smooth running of the workshop
Liaise with the manufacturing plant to meet customer requirements on supply only orders and vehicle fitting
Update customer status reports with relevant information; communicating any changes to the Operations Manager, sales team and the customer
Attend on and off site customer review meetings
Liaising with customers regarding fitting and delivery dates
Update the in house system regarding vehicle deliveries
Report to the production manager and scheduling supervisor any short falls regarding output in the schedule
Informing customers of the completion of vehicles
Other administration duties to support the workshop manager as required
The essential qualities of the Scheduling Administrator / Coordinator include:
Strong administration experience
Highly organised and able to manage large amounts of information and numerous tasks
Good IT skills are essential including Microsoft Excel, Word and Email, and ideally have knowledge of using SAP (although not essential)
Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with clients, leasing and delivery companies, and internal production and sales teams
Full UK driving license as they may be required to attend on site customer meetings
The hours of work are 09:00 – 17:00 Mon – Thurs, 09:00 – 16:30 Fri. – (salaried 37 hrs per week)
