£16,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Data Processor to join EQ Software based in Ashby de la Zouch. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £16,000 per annum plus 28 days holiday rising to 33 days after five years service, onsite parking, monthly and annual attendance bonus (+4% salary possible), fully AC offices, excellent break out facilities, Herman Miller desks and seating throughout.

EQ Software is the market leading business management software solution for the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Industry in the UK. We are part of the Compusoft Group which is one of Europe’s leading providers of design and management software for this sector.

The Data Processor will work within the catalogue department, creating and maintaining database versions of our kitchen and bathroom product catalogues in order to deliver accurate and high quality product and pricing information to our customers.

The Data Processor duties will include:

  • Working with excel to manipulate and lookup data
  • Working with various editing tools to manipulate image files and file names
  • Using in house products software to import and edit catalogue information
  • Using websites, pdf, etc to capture product information
  • Some telephony to answer and record call back requests
  • Ongoing on the job training


The successful Data Processor will have the following skills:

  • A can do learning attitude
  • GCSE English, Maths, ICT or similar qualification
  • Must have a good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Office administration skills
  • Ability to use a standard PC, keyboard and mouse to a good standard
  • Experience using Excel - advantageous
  • Ability to work at a computer for the majority of the working day
  • Attention to detail and pride in your work

We are looking for someone with a general willingness to learn new skills and the ability to change established ways of working when needed.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
