STORES PERSON

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stores Person to join AIM Altitude based in Waterbeach, Cambridge. Reporting to the Stores Manager, successful applicants should possess excellent communication skills, have a good work ethic, with a hardworking can-do attitude. The ability to work under pressure unsupervised and as part of a team is essential.  A current fork lift license would be an advantage.  The role could encompass some UK delivery driving to support the stores and logistics team if necessary.

Experience of the following key roles and responsibilities are essential:

  • Understanding and implementation of stock rotation
  • Familiarity of SAGE / MRP systems for allocating, issuing, transfer of stock and checking stock levels.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Understanding units of measure
  • Carry out stock checks unsupervised
  • Understands the importance of product traceability, including stock history, batch numbers, certificates of conformity and works orders
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organised and focused
  • Forklift licence would be an advantage and driving licence to assist with van deliveries if required

 

  • Basic Hours of work are 08.00 – 16.30 Monday – Thursday, 08.00 – 13.00 Friday (37 hours)
