Personal Care Assistant

Job Purpose and work duties
Support Worker is required to join a small team of workers to assist a fun-loving w/c dependant lady with various activities to enable her to maintain an independent fulfilling life to meet her chosen lifestyle.
Job Purpose:

Work Duties:

Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
Shopping
Outdoor walking/exercise.
Taking me to appointments
Assisting with leisure activities pushing the Wheelchair

Supporting with
• Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• Personal care
• Undertaking activities for employer
• Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe
Other requirements
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Reliable and flexible
• To drive a manual car ( over 25 )
• Friendly and sociable, likes being out and about.
• Very patient
Location
• Within the employer’s home
Hours and rate of pay
£12.71 per hour
5 hours a day flexible. weekend work plus cover for holiday
