Bank Support Worker – Autism and Learning disability

About the Role

We’re looking for people with experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge, ideally within community-based settings such as supported living or residential care.

Knowledge or experience with experience with complex care needs - tracheostomy's , suctioning , nebulisers , peg feeds is a real advantage  . 

As a Bank Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting independence, building life skills, and encouraging positive outcomes—all while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Shift Patterns: 

  • Vary dependant on the person you are supporting ! these can be 8 hrs or 12 hrs . 

Daily activities

  • Leisure and Recreational activities
  • Assisting with personal shopping
  • Day centre
  • school / college 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in care/support roles, ideally with Autism and learning disability’s
  • Calm, resilient, and patient approach
  • Team player who values consistency and structure
