Personal Assistant 4 hours per week

I’m a young adult with a physical disability, I am able looking for a PA who can take me out in my Motability vehicle for a few hours a week so that I can engage in activities that I enjoy. I use a wheelchair fulltime and have limited upper body mobility.

I attend college a couple of days a week and need a PA for Approx 4hrs per week, which can be flexible.

I’d like to go to watch football matches and most sports events/ activities.

I don’t need any personal care support while I’m out.

Likes

Watching football, rugby, darts and going out for food, to the  cinema.

Tasks and Duties

Support me to access the community and ensure I’m safe.

Drive a vehicle.

Help me to look for local activities that I would enjoy.

Working Hours/Rate of pay

£14.00  PH

4 hours per week  52 weeks of the year

Can be worked flexible

Type of person required

A younger male personal assistant would be preferred, and someone who is confident and interested in sports.

Able to drive a Motability vehicle.

Some experience of supporting young adults would be beneficial but not essential.

Training is accessible if required for the job role

Additional Information

Successful applicants will be subject to a three month trial period

A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself
