based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, seeks a reliable carer(s) to join his care team to
assist with daily activities to maintain an independent life.
ABOUT ME
• I live independently in a bungalow on the outskirts of Macclesfield, so ideally
you would need a car to drive to work although there is a bus service to
Macclesfield and Leek.
• My speech is generally understood by those close to me but I also use a
communication device and some adapted sign language.
• I use an electric wheelchair and have an adapted vehicle with a ramp so that I
can travel in my wheelchair. I have a manual wheelchair when needed.
• I enjoy socialising, including meals and drinks out, attending the Wheelies
Sports Club on Saturdays and Stockport’s Boccia club on Sundays. I also
enjoy visiting friends and family, days out and shopping.
• I don’t currently have any significant medical needs.
• My team of carers have been with me between 5 and 30 years so turnover is
low. I am looking for carers where I can form a great friendship as they
become my extended family.

and dressing etc.
• Cooking / preparation of all of my food and drinks
