Location: Halifax ( Illingworth )

Shift Patterns: 

•  8:45 AM – 16:30PM Mon – Friday
• 10 am – 5 pm Saturday (1 Saturday in 4 )

About the person you will support “R”

R is a bright, active 38 year old man who enjoys routine, structure, and community activities such as attending a day centre, visiting museums, and activities.

You will be supporting R to access, leisure, sporting, recreational and social activities within the local and wider communities, regionally.

He thrives when supported by calm, consistent staff who can provide reassurance and structure and support R to live an extremely full and varied life.

Daily activities

• Leisure and Recreational activities
• Assisting with personal shopping
• Eating Out
• Day centre

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in care/support roles, ideally with Autism and learning disability’s
• Calm, resilient, and patient approach
• Team player who values consistency and structure
• Full UK driving licence with car and business insurance
• We are looking for 2 x support workers working 20.5 hrs a week each
