• About the service user
• I am looking for a reliable, compassionate person to provide support to a service user in their own home. I live with anxiety, depression, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), so I am looking for someone who has an understanding of mental health and can offer calm, patient, and non-judgmental support. Maintaining dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing is very important.

Hours and rate of pay

• £12.21 per hour
• Hours to be discussed and agreed (flexibility preferred)

What you would be doing…

• Providing practical and personal care support as required
• Offering emotional reassurance and companionship
• Supporting daily routines and household tasks
• Encouraging independence in a calm and respectful way
• Being understanding during periods of anxiety or low mood
• Following agreed support plans and boundaries

The person I would like…

• Kind, patient, and emotionally understanding
• Experience or knowledge of mental health conditions (especially anxiety, depression, or BPD)
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Able to remain calm and supportive in challenging moments
• Respectful of privacy and confidentiality
• Experience in care is helpful but not essential
