Pizza Chef - The Fish Hotel

We’re looking for a passionate and hands-on Pizza Chef to join the kitchen team at The Fish Hotel — one of the Cotswold's most iconic hillside hideaways.

Set within 500 acres of Cotswold countryside, The Fish is a laid-back luxury hotel with big personality — home to 2 AA Rosette dining, relaxed bar menus, and seasonal dishes packed with local flavour. This role sits at the heart of our bar food offering, with pizzas playing a key part in delivering relaxed, high-quality dining experiences for our guests.

When pizza service is quieter, you’ll also support the wider kitchen team with food preparation and service — making this a varied, sociable role within a brilliant brigade.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting pizzas for the bar menu to a consistently high standard

• Preparing dough, sauces, toppings and garnishes with care and attention to detail

• Operating pizza ovens safely and efficiently

• Supporting the wider kitchen team with food prep and service when pizza demand allows

• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation across your section

• Assisting with stock control, rotation and waste reduction

• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine passion for food and hospitality

• Experience with pizza preparation or kitchen work (pizza experience ideal, but not essential)

• A hands-on, reliable attitude and pride in your work

• A team player who enjoys variety and working in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to jump in and support the wider kitchen when needed

The details:

• £32,448 per annum

• 48 hours per week across 5 days

• Plus service charge (approx. £3,000–£3,500 per year)

• Meals on duty and uniform provided
