Personal Assistant Position

Job Purpose

I am looking for a PA to support my 13 year old son within the family home only.

He likes to play VR and video games. He also likes to watch Apollo (an African grey parrot) on You Tube.

Work Duties Will Include

To sit with my son for him to show you what he has made and maybe watch Apollo videos,

To interact with role play, playing restaurants (Mc Noah’s)

Support from a distance, if instructed, listening to him when he is talking and correct if anything inappropriate is said (he needs to learn what is appropriate to say)

Keep him safe

Replace any batteries in controllers if they go below 20%



Requirement for the Role

Understanding Autism

A like of gaming if possible

Positive about what he has created

An Enhanced Child Workforce will need to be completed (no cost to PA)

Northfleet DA11

Rate of Pay

£12.25 per hour plus holiday pay

Working Pattern Required

2 hours per week – Alternate Tuesday and Thursdays during school hours or 4 hours every other weekend

During school holidays there are 8 hours per week available
