Job Description

Job Purpose and work duties
To assist with the day – to - day activities enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.

Hours and rate of pay
16 (flexible) hours weekly @ £13.00 p/h

Mon – Fri - Start between 9am and 10am - minimum shift 2 hours but is negotiable as below.
Plus 6 hours that can be added in 2 hour increments to any day that is mutually convenient.

Work Duties will include:

Helping with
· Personal Care, helping into shower & dressing
· Domestic tasks inc' ironing and some cleaning
· Meal preparation, breakfast & leaving snacks for the day

Supporting
· With mobility, ensuring the employers safety
- Social activities

Undertaking activities for employer
· Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safe

Other requirements
· Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
· Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
· Establish and maintain effective communication
· Maintaining confidentiality

Location

· Within the employer’s home in the Warmley (BS30) area

Requirements for applicant
· Good sense of humour
· Patience
· Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
· Experience of manual handling an advantage
· Driver with own car
· Ability to undertake domestic activities
· Flexible, reliable and honest
· Good general fitness
· An enhanced DBS check will be required
