We would love to hear from you if you are looking for a role that enables a young man with additional needs the opportunity to have a buddy who will go out, meet with his friends and enjoy having a buddy to plan new outings.

We need you to be enthusiastic, you can relate to people who have additional needs, you can drive and are motivated to look for social opportunities for our client.

Our client is a young man who has additional needs and would like someone to visit and arrange to go out with him twice a week. He would love his support worker to have the same interests as him – going to parks, visiting nice towns, going to the theatre, going to classical concerts and going to church. He doesn’t like garden centres, cafés or ice skating.

Wednesday 10am – 2pm (could be negotiated)

Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Hourly rate:

£17.80 for Mon-Fri and £19.80 for Sat and Sun

Applicants must respect each individual’s right to a full and valued life in their community, have excellent communication skills and be willing to develop a trusted relationship with the client.

Previous experience is not essential; it is more important to find the right person for the client.

A full clean driving licence is essential.
