At Brightening Lives, we’re proud to support amazing individuals across Harrogate to live happy, independent lives in their homes and communities.

We’re now looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and reliable female Personal Assistants to join our dynamic, friendly team. You’ll be supporting a young, bubbly woman who loves music, visiting cafés, doing her hair and makeup, and getting out and about. We need someone energetic and encouraging, who can help keep her motivated and make each day fun, active, and fulfilling.

 What You’ll Do:

• Provide person-centred care with dignity and respect
• Support people on days out – bowling, cinema, football, shopping, cafés, and more
• Encourage independence and confidence through everyday activities
• Deliver 1:1 wraparound care (minimum 4-hour shifts between 8am–8pm)
• Take part in sleep-in shifts and work alternate weekends

You'll be helping people live life on their own terms—with your support making it all possible.

 About You:

• You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car (essential)
• You’re naturally caring, dependable, and energetic
• You feel confident working both independently and as part of a team
• You enjoy being active and engaging with others
• Experience in care is helpful—but personality, values, and passion matter just as much
