Personal Assistant

Support a young 20-year-old male with autism to safely access the community to engage in constructive and leisure activities, that promote his health and wellbeing.
£12.60 per hour Planned hours of support are from midday to 17.00 on Saturday
Provide consistent practical support to access the community. Provide emotional support if necessary and reassurance when required. Encourage greater independence around daily living skills and motivation. Provide guidance, information and advice when required. Liaise with family and other relevant parties.
Driver essential with own vehicle. My DBS check will be required. Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable. My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity. My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition. You must be able to work well independently. My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
