Personal Care Assistant

Job Purpose and work duties

• Support Worker is required to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.

Work Duties:

• Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
• Shopping
• Outdoor walking/exercise
• Taking me to appointments
• Assisting with leisure activities

Supporting with
• Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• Personal care
• Undertaking activities for employer
• Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe

Other requirements
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality

Location
• Within the employer’s home

Hours and rate of pay

• Weekend hours working over Saturday and Sunday in the daytime, and evenings, hours to be discussed with employer
• £12.21 per hour for 1.5 hours per week
