Job Title: Gastroenterology Consultant

Location: Exeter

Contract: Full-time (Evening and Weekend flexibility required)

Salary: Negotiable

We have an exciting opportunity to expand our consultant workforce within the Department at Exeter.

Ideally on GMC Specialist register or within 1 year of achieving this

Main duties of the job:

• These jobs offer an exciting opportunity for the successful applicants to join a committed team of Consultants in this well- developed and expanding service, with close working relationship with the Radiology, Histopathology, Hepatology, Hepato-pancreatico biliary, and Colorectal surgery services.
• You will be responsible for the management of those patients admitted under their care.

Skills and aptitudes

Essential

• Strong teaching skills and experience

• Understanding of clinical governance and audit procedures

Experience

Essential:

• Broad experience in general clinical gastroenterology and endoscopy
• Training and education of undergraduate and postgraduate students
