Personal Care Assistant

Job Title:

• FEMALE Personal Assistant / Carer

• Purpose of the job Personal Assistant required for a lovely 61-year-old lady in Cambridgeshire, CB23 area. The client lives with multiple medical conditions and needs support with daily living. Ideally PA to have an interested in Cooking and Crochet, and client likes to go on short walks when feeling up to it, with the use of her stick or walking frame

Hours and rate of Pay:

• £14.90 per hour
• 3 x 6 hour a day, and possible waking nights when needed, to be discussed on interview.

Main Duties:

• Supporting with medication
• Supporting with personal care
• Assistance with housework
• Assistance with nutrition, as and when required
• Assistance to book and attend appointments, as required
• Support with Catheter, as and when required
• Giving reassurance
• Companionship
• Support with any other needs

Personal Assistant Specification:

• Driving licence with own transport.
• Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
• My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
• My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
• You must be able to work well independently.
• My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
• The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
