Personal Care Assistant

Location of Role:

• Tunbridge Wells

Description / Details of the Role:

• My child is a 7-year-old girl who has interests in swimming, playgrounds, the outdoors, soft play and eating.
• To assist my child to access activities in the community, SEN activities and clubs.
• To provide support and assistance to enable my child to achieve their full potential, including personal care.

Key main tasks:

· Toileting – in nappies

· Makaton (desirable but not essential)

· Patience

· High level of supervision required – a runner and choking risk

Hourly rate of pay:

• £12.21

Hours available:

• Term Time - 3 hours per week – flexible & can be built up to use as a whole day, e.g. a Saturday
• School Holidays - 8 hours per week

An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an up-to-date clearance is needed.

Access to a car, a clean driving license and business car insurance.
