What You’ll Do

Design and deliver tailored outdoor activities for small groups, combining fun, challenge, and skill-building.
Act as a role model, ensuring safety and safeguarding at every step.
Collaborate with care teams to create integrated development plans for children.
Manage your caseload and time effectively, balancing a busy schedule.
Play a key role in maintaining equipment, managing risks, and adhering to AALA standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking resilient, enthusiastic, and skilled outdoor leaders with:

Qualifications:

Two-day Outdoor First Aid Certificate.
Full driving licence and ability to travel across the North of England.
At least three of the following:
- Summer Mountain Leader.
- Rock Climbing Instructor (SPA).
- British Cycling Level 2 Mountain Bike Leader or equivalent.
- PaddleUK Paddlesport Leader Award.
- White-water safety and rescue qualification.

Experience:
Planning and delivering outdoor activities for children.
Supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs is desirable.

Skills:
Strong communication, IT proficiency, and organisational abilities.
A passion for helping children develop meaningful, transferable life skills.
