PERSONAL ASSISTANT

About me I am 61-year-old lady with constant pain and poor mobility with restricted movement. I also have anxiety and short-term memory issues.

I require support with bathing and dressing and assistance with domestic chores and shopping.
I need support and reminders to take medication as I get distracted and forgetful

It is important for me to have continuity of regular and reliable support worker who understands my needs.

Hours and rate of Pay Hourly rate £12.21

20 hours per week - to be discussed at interview
The post will include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata)

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.

What you would be doing…

Maintain a daily routine for the administering of medication
Support with personal care in a dignified manor
Supervising meal preparation and cooking
Support with everyday domestic chores
Support with shopping

Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis
Discuss and resolve problems as they arise undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope and responsibility of the job
Needs may vary therefore flexibility is essential
