Care/ Support Worker Required

Exciting opportunity to join our friendly and experienced team to support a fit and active young man with epilepsy, social, communication and learning difficulties living in Gresford, Wrexham. He has a 24 hour package of care with a variety of shifts to be covered.

He requires assistance/encouragement with daily living tasks and accessing social activities. He enjoys outdoor pursuits including walking.

You should have a genuine interest in promoting independence and social opportunities, be committed to the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator and team player.

Specific training would be offered relating to the young man’s individual needs. Further training and development opportunities are available.

Successful applicants required to provide enhanced disclosure, cost will be met by employer. Being a car driver with clean licence would be advantageous.

Part-time hours: 20 per week- may be opportunities to do more

Salary: £13.00 per hour  (hourly rate reviewed April)

Permanent position with opportunities to enrol with NEST pension scheme
