Support Worker
CJP Outreach Service are currently recruiting Support Workers to join our team as we prepare to welcome a fourth client to our service. For this position it would be an advantage to have a background in Positive behaviour support, working and supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern. Ideally your experience will be a support worker who has experience in community base settings, such as supported living and/or residential care as a support worker.
As a support worker You will play a pivotal role in providing person-centred support for adults with complex behavioural needs and communication difficulties in achieving their goals. You will be supporting people to develop essential life skills and independence.

As a key team player your responsibilities will include:
Working hours
We provide support on a 24/7 basis with staffing ratios of 1:1 and 2:1 support. You will be expected to support on a rotational basis working 12-hour and 15-hour shifts.
This will include every other weekend with sleep-in duties also available.
Employee wellbeing scheme (including free face to face counselling, helplines and online support)
Our Refer a Friend scheme is worth £500 in total.
This is split £250 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £250 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
