Position: HLTA
Location: Primary School, Portsmouth
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, temporary (with the potential for permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support in class, working with both individuals and groups of students.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing tailored support to students.
• Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive, productive learning environment.
• Support the teacher with planning and preparing resources for lessons.
• Work closely with students who have additional needs, ensuring their inclusion in the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passionate and committed HLTA with experience in primary education.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive, adaptable approach to working with children.
• Excellent communication skills, both with students and colleagues.
• Must hold an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
• Must hold the HLTA qualification or equivalent
