D is a 38 year old man who is Autistic and has learning disabilities, D is non verbal but communicates well using his tablet, & making various sounds and by writing.

D is a happy person who enjoys the individual company of others, his passion is Tenpin Bowling.

He lives near to Newmarket, with his parents.

3 hrs per week – Thursday evening 7pm – 10pm

£12.26 per hour

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.






Supporting D to access community activities, usually Tenpin Bowling in Cambridge, if time permits, having a cup of tea after or soft drink, or picking up a bit of shopping.



If you have supported others in the community with Autism or learning disabilities that would be great but is not essential for this role.

You will need to be someone who enjoys being active and happy to take part in activities, mostly bowling!

D very much looks forward to this activity so you will need to be reliable.

Someone who is friendly & kind who will encourage and promote D’s independence.

It is essential that you have a driving licence, access to your own vehicle with appropriate insurance and be happy to use it for work purposes (mileage money will be paid @ £0.45 pence per mile).
