Job Title: Fostering Social Worker

Location: Dorchester (Hybrid/Remote)

Contract Type: Temporary

Salary: £38.00 per hour

About the Role

You will be joining a well-structured and organised team of around 30 individuals who are looking to grow the staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases.

Day to day activities

• You will plan own diary
• Full team meeting once a month and assessment team meeting once a month
• Take turn in duty rota.
• Role will be to complete approx. 4 kinship (fostering/SGO) through to completion (3-4) months requirement to work between home and office

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 3 years post qualification experience within UK
• Enhanced Childrens & Adults DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• SWE Registered
• Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Fulfil the travel requirements of the role
• Experience in Fostering and SG assessments
• Experience of Assessing Kinship Carers by way of fostering and Special Guardianship
• familiarity of Coram Baaf forms
• Experience of fostering post approval work
