Job Title: Personal assistant

Hours per week: 6 hours per week to be worked across 2 or 3 week days. Flexibility of these days and hours is possible and can be discussed further at interview

Location: Colwyn Bay, Conwy

Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour

Closing date: 20th March 2025

About the role

This job is to support a lady to get out and about in the community to do hobbies, days out and activities that she enjoys to do, and support with her independence.

Task and duties, to include any or all of the following:

To take on days out such as to the zoo or swimming.

To take out shopping or for drinks or lunch at local cafes.

To support with being independent away from the home.

Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.

Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

Personal Specification

A driving license and access to a car is desirable, with business use on insurance.

Establish a professional standard of care which should be maintained at all times.

Respect and safeguard the goods and property of the family.

Respect the privacy of the family and uphold confidentiality at all times.

Be trustworthy and kind

Be punctual, reliable and have some degree of flexibility, with a view to possibly undertaking overtime.

Be enthusiastic and be open to new experiences.

Bear in mind that the role is one of empowerment for the service user.

The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references
