Location: PE13 – Wisbech area

Personal Assistant required to support with my brother who requires some day support and overnight respite care in your home. Training will be provided.

As my brother’s Personal Assistant, your job will be to provide personal and domestic assistance to an adult male who has learning difficulties with sight and hearing impairments but mobile and generally self-sufficient.

The 13 hours per week will involve generally assisting him in the day-to-day, mainly getting him out accessing the community which he loves doing. He does not require constant supervision but having someone on hand to support him as and when needed, is key to this role.

The second part of the role involves overnight respite which would need to be in your own home as unfortunately, space is limited for myself.

Access to a vehicle and the ability to drive is imperative for this role.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required. – This is to check for any previous criminal records.
All relevant training will be provided. – This may be hoist safety, medication administering or food hygiene training as needed.
